Vigevano (Italian PROnunciation: [viˈdʒɛːvano] or [viˈdʒeːvano]; Western Lombard: Avgevan) is a town and comune in the province of Pavia, Lombardy in northern Italy. A HIStoric art town, it is also renowned for shoemaking and is one of the main centres of Lomellina, a rice-growing agricultural district.
